It is easy to register at Ethnic Dance Expressions School of Belly Dance. You can register in person by coming into the dance studio 15 minutes before the class or register online and select a payment method on Pay Pal. You do not need an account with Pay Pal to use their credit card services. At the studio we accept cash, personal checks, and credit/debit cards from Master Card, Visa, Discover, and American Express. We also take Google and Apple Pay. We still have some GroupOn deals available. You can do your preliminary registration paperwork online by filling in and printing out your Registration and Waiver/Release Form.

In-Person Classes

Studio is Closed. I will post schedule in April.

On February 16, 2024, I will be closing the studio and retiring from the business side of dancing. I will offer private classes for those students who still have classes remaining on their dance cards as well as keep the dance troupe so we can perform. It has been an exciting 45 years of dancing and learning. I want to thank all my Gainesville students over the last 25 years for their support and patronage and community members who have promoted us and given us opportunities to dance.

How to Register

Select the day(s) and time(s) you would like to take class. We recommend students start with a beginner class if they have never belly danced before. For those who have taken classes before, we suggest the Progressive or Advanced Beginner level to get you acquainted with Sallamah's teaching style and technique. You can always change classes. Our Class Schedule is kept up-to-date, but if you have any questions, e-mail Sallamah at sallamah@bellsouth.net . Registration and Financial Policies

Registration Fees: We do not have an extra registration fee. Students only pay for their tuition and can register online via Pay Pal (no account is needed when you use your credit or debit card) or in person at EDE with cash, check, or Visa and MasterCard Debit or Credit Cards along with Discover and AmericanExpress.

Refunds: Tuition is non-refundable after the first class. It is recommended you try at least one class before you commit to a full-sized dance or exercise card. The Walk-in fee will be applied to your class card.

Dance and Exercise Class Cards: Are valid for several additional weeks. Notify me if you have extended work travel, are recuperating from an illness or surgery, or have a family emergency and the expiration date on your card will be extended.

Checks Returned for Insufficient Funds: Students will have to refund in Cash, the amount of the check plus the amount the Bank charges me for Returned Checks.

Insurance: Ethnic Dance Expressions does not carry medical insurance for its students. It is required that all dance students be covered by their own insurance policies and if injury occurs, it is understood that the student's own policy is her/his only source of reimbursement.

Hold Harmless Agreement: All students and visiting teachers will be asked to sign a Hold Harmless Agreement and provide EDE with the name and contact information for the person they want us to contact in case of an accident or an emergency.

Merchandise: NO REFUNDS on merchandise. A 15%, no-refundable deposit is required to hold merchandise.

Consignments: There is a 20% commission fee on consignment goods. Please bring in gently used items that are well-made, laundered, and pressed. State and Local Sales Taxes will be collected on the merchandise.
