IntermedClassCome join us at EDE, Gainesville's and North Central Florida's first belly dance school. Because Gainesville has an ever changing population, we have an open-registration policy and have designed our classes to be flexible so new students can join at any time and keep studying throughout the year. We try to begin new classes at the start of UF's and SFC's school terms (August/September, January, and Summer ABC).

You can come to class whenever you want although it helps to get into a routine. Think of your dance and exercise classes as a gift you give to yourself. You are encouraged to come to at least one class a week so you will see continued progress and won't become discouraged. The more classes you attend, the quicker you will learn to dance or reach your exercise and weight goals.

APRIL 2024 - Studio Closed

I will post information about classes in April.

On February 16, 2024, I will be closing the studio and retiring from the business side of dancing. I will offer private classes for those students who still have classes remaining on their dance cards as well as keep the dance troupe so we can perform. It has been an exciting 45 years of dancing and learning. I want to thank all my Gainesville students over the last 25 years for their support and patronage and community members who have promoted us and given us opportunities to dance.

 

ZOOM Dance Aerobics Classes

SneakersAre offered Thursday mornings from 10:30-11:30 am. This is a low-impact aerobics class with hand weights, stretching, floor mat exercises, and ballet bar exercises. The class is geared for adult exercisers ages 35 and up but anyone can attend. Participants work at their own pace and level. For more information about the class...
