About Studio Classes & How to Register

Come join us at Ethnic Dance Expressions School of Belly Dance, Gainesville's premier belly dancing school. Classes officially start at the beginning of the school term (August/September, January, and May/June) , however, we have an open-registration policy and have designed our classes so new students can join at any time and keep studying throughout the year. To accommodate the ever changing schedules of our UF and SFC students as well as our working clients, students purchase a Dance or an Exercise Card for a specific number of classes. Each time they come to class, they have it punched. This method allows students to mix-and-match classes, make-up missed classes, come more than once a week, or come at different times and on different days as their work, family or school schedules change. (Cards are valid for an additional 3, 4 or 6 weeks.) The class sizes are small for more one-on-one instruction. Students receive an Exercise or Dance Notebook with handouts and other information they will need for their class as well as a monthly newsletter.

EDE Class Prices 

Dance Cards Cost:  $45.00 for 4 classes; $55.00 for 6 classes; $65.00 for 8 classes; $75.00 for 10 classes; 
and 12 classes for $85. (1.5 hours/class) One hour classes are usually $5.00 less.  
Exercise Cards Cost:  $55.00 for 8 classes; $60.00 for 12; $65.00 for 16; and $70.00 for 20 classes. (1 hour/class)
Private Lessons:  $35.00 an hour for advanced students creating solos or competition contestants.

2. Set-up the day and time you want to start classes.
3. Register Online or Come into class a few minutes early to fill-out the registration form and receive your Dance or Exercise Class Information Packet.
